As a Senior Executive, Bernard (Bernie) Cammarata has met challenge growing profitable businesses in a variety of highly competitive industries. His 30+ years of experience, leadership skills and commitment to a customer focused strategy has enabled him to establish a history of introducing new services and products, revitalizing stagnant sales, developing effective branding strategies and creating highly-profitable strategic alliances. He is an expansive thinker whose diverse background includes extensive knowledge of the Internet, e-business, and the seamless integration of emerging technologies in a large user community. Bernie has an outstanding record of achievement, implementing new business concepts, delivering innovative business solutions, and facilitating growth within an organization.
Mr. Cammarata started his career after graduating from The University of Denver Daniels College of Business, joining the Interpublic Group of Companies with McCann Erickson in Chicago. He rose steadily, moving to the New York Office in 1976. He was elected to the Executive Committee a few years later. He reflects on his years at McCann Erickson as some of the most rewarding and exciting segment of his career. As a Senior VP, he led branding efforts for some of the premier brands in the country such as: Miller Lite, Coca Cola, the introduction of Sony Walkman and Sears Men’s Store.
The experience he gained during this time gave him the foundation to take on his expanding management roles as EVP/General Manager and member of the Board of Molson U.S.A. where he turned a second tier Import Beer into a major force in the category. Following Molson, he joined Price Waterhouse as Chief Marketing Officer, where he laid the groundwork for the premier auditing firm’s transition to a business advisory firm.
While Executive VP Operations at Philip Crosby Associates, the leading consulting firm in total quality management and process improvement, he worked with major vendors and suppliers of Wal- Mart, McDonalds and Giant Eagle Foods, to insure their processes and products met the increasing demands and standards for quality and “just in time” inventory control.
Most recently, Mr. Cammarata has led the marketing efforts of the PNC Financial Group. In this position, he incorporated on-line banking into the retail banking operation, supervised the marketing efforts of the Corporate Bank, Private Bank and Wealth Management Advisors Group.
The technology revolution has not missed Mr. Cammarata either. His development work on the Billing Zone and On-line Banking for PNC and his
position as CEO and Chairman of the Board here at EzzHosting/EzzMedia.com has grounded him in the new realities of the market place.
